Attached clients get Plus for free while under your seat cap. A client with their own Plus subscription doesn't count as a seat.
Questions coaches ask
Do my clients need Plus?
Only if they exceed your seat cap. Under the cap, attached clients get Plus for free. A client who has their own Plus subscription doesn't consume a seat.
What happens if my subscription lapses?
Your clients get a 30-day grace period on Plus. Their history and any assigned programs stay theirs. Your program templates, private notes, and aggregate outcome stats stay yours.
Can I migrate from Trainerize or TrueCoach?
Yes — import their CSV exports directly. Programs come across as .maxtopia files you can adjust or reuse.
How do clients pay me?
Two options. Bring your own Stripe Connect Standard account (payouts go direct to your bank) or use the built-in manual invoice tracker (amount, due date, paid/unpaid, notes — no money movement).
Is there a free trial?
Yes — a 7-day free trial on annual Plus. Coach and Coach Pro don't have a trial today; happy to answer questions before you subscribe.
Why isn't Coach available on the iOS app?
Apple's guidelines prohibit IAP for coach seats. You subscribe on maxtopia.app and sign in on the iOS/Android app. Same account either way.
